Jessica Wagner - Executive Assistant to Kay Coles James
Wagner holds a B.A. in Government from Patrick Henry College, where she graduated as valedictorian. Previously, Jessica interned on the Hill for the Republican Study Committee, and she worked with Patrick Henry Chancellor and constitutional lawyer, Dr. Michael Farris, on several political and legal projects. She has competed in collegiate debate, moot court, and mock trial and received various speech and writing awards. Jessica has served on multiple political campaigns and has a past history in sales and customer service. She is originally from the beautiful state of Montana.

Darrian P. Mack - Director of Programs and Services
Mr. Mack provides leadership for the organization's major grant funded programs, information technology infrastructure and outreach efforts. He also works closely with the President in setting longterm strategy. Previously, Mack was the Program Coordinator for the American Students' Fund, a nonprofit that worked in the Baltimore City Public School System. He had operational oversight of various character-based programs in five inner city schools composing 400 teachers and over 3,000 students. Mack is founder and former managing partner of E-Mackqulent, LLC, a media company that targeted college students with interactive products and websites. He began his career working for Scripps Networks Interactive in areas of web video production and online advertising for HGTV and Food Network.
He holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in marketing from Hampton University, where he served as Student Government Association President. Mack was also a member of the first class of The Gloucester Institute's Emerging Leaders program. He is originally from of Baltimore, Maryland.

Anthony Coles - Director of Accountablility & Renovations
Mr. Coles oversees the renovations and facility maintenance of the Moton Conference Center and Holly Knoll. He also has responsibility for the management of financial planning and cost control strategy for the organization. He comes to the Gloucester Institute with over 30 years of project planning and scheduling experience. As a member of the Oracle Deployment Team for Alcoa, Mr. Coles designed and deployed systems to manage raw materials and product specifications. He also developed and integrated a scheduling system of the overall project for the division. Mr. Coles has an expert knowledge in state of the art project planning software such as Primavera, Sure Trak, and Microsoft Project. He is also well versed in Oracle MRP Software. His wealth of experience with capital improvement projects serves him well as he brings the renovations of the Holly Knoll campus to completion on time and on budget.

John Morris - Grant Writer
John Morris, now a freelance writer and editorial consultant, was for many years the voice of Communities In Schools, Inc., the nation's largest nonprofit dropout prevention organization. He edited The Last Dropout (Hay House, 2007), CIS founder Bill Milliken's memoir, and is currently working on its sequel, Standing in the Breach. John also teaches workshops at the Writer's Center in Bethesda, Maryland. His fiction and poetry have appeared in more than 80 journals.
